Major Responsibilities:

• Interface to the customers, suppliers and other company functional teams representing engineering;

• Provide technical services to customer. like: feasibility study, assembly assistants, production launch, trouble shooting;

• Analyze and discuss with customers on product requirements during RFQ phase to make technical proposals to acquire new business;

• Prepare technical proposals, Engineering Part List to CQA team to run business case

• Lead the entire project engineering team to deliver the engineering assignments to meet the project timing, cost, quality target as per corporate engineering development processes

• Deliver the engineering process document in compliance with development processes as well as automotive Spice requirements;

• Co-ordinate and liaise the prototype builds during the development phase with the support from rest of the engineering team;

• Support EPS system engineers, TEE engineers in diagnostics and vehicle tuning;

• Support the validation engineer to complete the DVP/PVP.

Key Competencies:

• Experience in mechanical related design in automotive industry.

• Experience of Application Engineer is preferred.

• Excellent proficiency in reading mechanical drawings.

• Strong ability of system failure analysis, trouble shooting and problem solving.

• Knowledge of quality systems in automotive industry.

• Knowledge of CANbus or vehicle electronic parts development is a plus.

• Good inter-personal and communication skills is a must

• Basic oral and written English, proficiency is preferred.

• Good learning attitude, self-discipline, pro-active, highly committed and able to work with tight deadline and under high pressure.

• Willing to travel (domestic and international).
