Job dimensions:

Prototype components incoming inspection / final unit parts dimension measurement / general inspection toolings /related engineer ‘s requested samples dimension measurement

Accountabilities:

Responsible for inspecting prototype incoming components / final unit parts and provide the inspection report accordingly. And inspect the samples requested by product engineer, development engineer, etc to check the dimensions is in SEPC or not. Also align measurement method with supplier and product line.

Activities :

1. Operate CMM and general inspection tooling or gauge to inspect dimensions of components and unit parts for incoming inspection, internal issue study and customer delivery.

2. Edit inspection report as official template

3. Maintain and purchase all CMM lab tooling and fixtures

4. Support annual calibration

5. Support engineer to make Gauge R&R

6. Take part in lab 5S & HSE management

Internal/external contact:

To interface with product engineer, development engineer, CASE engineer, machining technician, assembly technician for the parts inspecting.

Communicate with supplier for aligning measurement method.

Qualifications / experience required :

1. At least 3 years experience of CMM operation

2. Be familiar with GD&T and MSA

3. Basic ability to part drawing reading, apply Microsoft office to edit report

4. Basic English reading and writing

5. Good communication skills, able to work independently and team working

6. Dimension inspector in Braking or Automobile is a plus

Educational:

graduate from junior college or technical school in Electro-Mechanical / Mechanical/Automotive or its equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years working experience and 3 years experience in CMM operation, inspection or quality dep. in automotive / mechanical or similar industry.
