Position: Project Lead & Management (UX)

Division/Department: Skoda China/New Digital Business & Mobility Services

Location: Beijing

               

Main goals and objectives:

? The mission of this position is to support the digital transformation of customer experience and business models of the brand ?KODA in China and to advice development of brand's leadership in the area of digitization and mobility services.

? The function manages key activities as part of the implementation of the long-term Digital Strategy for potential new business areas in the realm of new business & innovation as a practice leader in User Experience (UX) field of the ?KODA business entity in China.

? Based on and in alignment with the group strategy 2025, ?KODA HQ and ?KODA China, the target is to extend the current automotive core business with innovative mobility services and new digital business fields to ensure a sustainable growth path for ?KODA in China, and establish new revenue streams which contribute significantly to ?KODA's operative result.  

Your Responsibilities:

? Lead and manage new business & innovation projects, define cross-functional expert project team members and project partners, steer resources and budget, allocate tasks, monitor the overall progress of own projects (quality, time, budget), ensure sufficient communication to management team and to external partners.

? Responsible to create a seamless UX for all ?KODA customers facing touchpoints, in collaboration with business development, and project leads to find the best interface solution for the business.

? Analyze and tackle User Experience weaknesses and implement efficient and continuous testing of digital products and services.

? Manage delivery of feasibility checks to analyze and evaluate national & international developments / trends within the new digital business and derive relevant fields of action for ?KODA China.

? Manage development and piloting of New Digital Business initiatives for ?KODA China.

? Responsible to implement new, customer centric thinking and agile project management styles, and education of SKODA China organization and project teams to drive internal digital transformation.

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

? University degree with major in Business management, marketing or design

Personal skills:

? Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit with a sense for innovation and passion for trends

? Strong project management and leadership skill

? Decision making competence and readiness to accept responsibility, focusing on quality in every sector of operations

? Strategic and analytical thinking, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking

? Stress resistant and high willingness to travel

? Strong inter-personal, communication & negotiation skills, persuasive appearance

? Excellent, persuasive English communication skills, Chinese and German skills advantageous

Working experience (in years):

? Minimum 8 years working experience, thereof 4 years’ experience in digital/design/UX

? Experience in project management/lead

? Experience in innovation management or development of new services

? User experience and design knowledge

? Experience of corporate and startup environment (sales, marketing or product development)

? Knowledge of or high affinity for China market
