Position: Connected Services
Division/Department: Skoda China/New Digital Business & Mobility Services
Location: Beijing
Main goals and objectives:
? The mission of this position is to ensure the digital transformation of the brand ?KODA in China and to support the brand's leadership in the area of digitization and mobility services.
? This function is responsible for the realization and implementation of connected services in strong alignment with JV SVW (SC, SX) to support the brand's connectivity strategy and roadmap.
Your Responsibilities:
? Lead implementation of connected services (incl. Hardware, Software & IT) into ?KODA cars (PQ, MQB, MEB). Ensure product planS reflects Connectivity Strategy. Support the integration of head unit, OCUs and Retrofit solutions / Dongle.
? Support the implementation for infotainment related modules and components (CNS 3.0, CNSx, and OCU) within China and MOS / Smart Mobility environment and alignment with relevant stakeholder.
? Support for SKODA China coordination between JV, ?KODA HQ and VGC Group to ensure achievement of timeline and key objectives. Coordination, escalation to VGC SKODA & Group Management in case of roadblock or strategy changes on VGC, JV, ?KODA HQ side (e.g. VW Project House) for infotainment related modules (CNS/OCU, MOS).
? Preparation of feasibility studies and preparation of all pre-project and project requirements. Input and consultation for product request definition. Ensure the quality and profitability of the projects.
? Responsible for VGC IT process and system integration based on given requirements incl. data: Handover of data to data analyst (insights and monetization).
? Regular monitoring of project progress and critical issues in close cooperation with VGC, JV and HQ, participation in project teams and all PEP related decision meetings at VGC, JVs and HQ.
Our Requirements:
Necessary education:
? University degree with major in engineering / IT / Business Administration or related fields
Personal skills:
? Strong inter-personal, communication & negotiation skills, persuasive appearance, especially with JVs
? Decision making competence and readiness to accept responsibility, focusing on quality in every sector of operations
? Strategic & analytical thinking
? Strong project, problem solving and time management skills
? Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
? Excellent, persuasive English and Chinese communication skills, German skills advantageous
Working experience (in years):
? 5+ years of professional experience in IT / Telecommunication or Automotive industry
? Experience in innovation management or development of new services
? Technology knowledge (Application and platform development)
? Connectivity product and related service experience, at OEM and/or supplier industry
? Strong personal network to key Connectivity players inside and outside VW organization, incl. regulatory/lobbying departments/agencies
? Knowledge of or high affinity for China market
