Position: API and Developer Community Management

Division/Department: HR&ORG&ITP/ITP Region China

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

? This position will have the responsibility to install, maintain and develop API and

RESTFul services within the Cloud Infrastructure of Volkswagen in the region china

and to implement and run an API Management / Service Management concept.

? This position is embedded within the VW Groups IT department Strategy and

Governance Team also responsible for Cloud Development and operations. Among

other tasks the core responsibilities is to run and develop or implement APIs and

RESTFUL Services as well as governing the usage of such by multiple parties.

? This position will be responsible together within the team and the stakeholders of

project team, operations team, and service providers, to share information and

create and gather required documents.

? Ensuring that all operationally relevant documents are updated and available on the

go live date.

? Ensuring API and Service Planning by creating the service readiness together with

the respective project managers.

? Supporting project management for overall acceptance of the IT service and then run

APIs and Services based on user requirements

Your Responsibilities:

API and Community Management：

? Build up and maintain API Governance process.

? Maintain API portfolio and build up operation plan.

? Create API Governance Handbook, IT documentation and operations plan

? Define roles and responsibilities of every involved party for each project.

? Arrange project meetings

? Review and validate required documents

? Regular project status reports

? Organize Community Meetings (on- and offline)

? Build and Maintain Online Presence that documents API Documentation and central

exchange point for Developer Community

? Organize FAQ Session and active bridge between external and internal community

members i.e. developers and architecture or operations teams

? Coordinate, validate and track implementation of feature requests and improvement

suggestions in cooperation with the architecture and operations teams

? Managing and tracking milestones and KPIs related to the API Governance and

Documentation.

Our Requirements:

Necessary Education:

Bachelor or Master in computer science or equivalent (or a comparable degree) IT

Cloud certification

Working Experience (in years):

? At least 5 years’ experience with API Management and/or Development

? At least 3 years’ experience with Cloud based environments

? Proven experience with Cloud environments management tools

? At least 3 years’ experience with IT Project Management (PMP or equivalent)

? Minimum of 1 year with international projects

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

? English fluent (spoken and written)

? German or/and Chinese would be an advantage

? Master at least 1 programming language (i.e. Java, C#)

? Cloud technology related certification would be an advantage

? SCRUM related certification would be an advantage

? Big Data technology related certification would be an advantage ? PMP or equivalent

certification would be an advantage

? ITIL certification and experiences would be an advantage
