Position:Cloud Service and Test Management

Division/Department: HR, Orga. & ITP/ITP Region China

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

This position ensures

? Test Management

o Responsibility for the concept, preparation, implementation and reporting of the

tests including build tests, system integration tests, system tests, acceptance tests

o Responsible for the design, implementation and operations as well as continuous

improvement of automated test procedures and related automated builds using a

continuous integration/ continuous deployment platform and toolset

o Responsibility for the test processes in the projects including source code and/or

cloud services build and deployment tests

o Contact point for the matter of testing for VW Group and JV companies

o Planning, Design, Implementation, Rollout and Continuous Improvement of IT

Testing Projects and cloud deployment projects, based on company needs, in line

with group and international standards (PMP)

o Test Project planning and execution ensuring cost- /schedule and scope adherence

? Quality Assurance

o Technical acceptance of the cloud services and source code builds and

recommendations for Go-Live decisions

o Responsibility for appropriate Quality Assurance of Software Development and

Projects using cloud resources for local and international projects

o Establishment of Quality Assurance processes and Quality Gates for Software

Development Processes and cloud based Projects

o Define and setup quality acceptance criteria to ensure customer satisfaction of

Cloud Deployments and IT Test related services

? Integration Management

o Responsibility for the integration of Connected Car as well as other IT projects to

target environments (mainly cloud based)

o Preparation and tracking of integration plans

Manage and coordinate external service providers in the cloud area including:

o Technical and functional supervision of contracted parties

o Contract managemen

o Support hiring process for new service employees

o Monitoring and reporting

? Support budget planning and control the execution of Development /Testand Cloud

projects

Responsible for assuring measurable high-quality delivery in accordance with the

defined KPIs and the MBO

? Establishment of a long term orientation for the JVs and VGC toward using VW

group technologies/processes/systems and VGC standard IT components and with

special focus on cloud technologies and automated test/build procedures.

? Efficient processes and corresponding documentation (process and knowledge

management) and reporting

? Continuous technical and process improvement and optimization

Your Responsibilities:

Cloud Operations

? Planning and Capacity Management for all cloud resources

? Planning and monitoring of micro- services running on the cloud platform

? Integration management and interdependency checks for micro and other services of

the cloud platform

Test Management

? Creation and coordination of the test concept (test strategy, test planning, test types,

test stages, test start and end criteria, test metrics)

? Requesting the required test resources (people and machines)

? Selection and introduction of technologies and test tools including training

? Scheduling of the individual test stages (e.g. build and deployment tests, system

integration test, system test, acceptance test)

? Planning of test costs and time

? Plans, monitors and steers the test execution

? Reports the test progress and the test results to the project teams

? Implements a defect management

? Support project managers with Go/No Go live recommendations

? Regular interact with local stakeholders/business and for the IT/system related

project/program management and Test management for all IT Services on cloud as

well as the specifc test requirements for Connected Car Area

? Build up stable and regular communication channel to identify and realize synergy

across all IT Service areas with all involved stakeholders incl. JVs

? Coordinate, validate and implement change requests and release updates in

cooperation with the project teams and the suppliers and their quality assurance

through testing

? Implement and optimize Quality- and Test processes and policies

? Managing and tracking milestones and KPIs related to the Cloud Resources.

? Review Project created concepts considering Cloud Service and test requirements

determining the suitability for the testing and the development of relevant testing

support concepts and processes

Our Requirements:

Necessary Education:

? Bachelor or Master in computer science or equivalent (or a comparable degree)

? Proven experience in Cloud technologies, CI/CD platforms with automated test,

build and deployment practice and writing comprehensive test cases.

Working Experience (in years):

? At least 3 years’ experience in software testing in the automotive and/or production

industry

? Minimum of 1 year with international projects

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

? English fluent (spoken and written)

? German or/and Chinese would be an advantage

? Intercultural competence

? PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage

? ITIL certification and experiences would be an advantage
