KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Learning the teaching programme of Chinese, actively participating in teaching activities;

providing support in class; assisting the Chinese teachers in recording the students’ learning

progress; assisting the Chinese teachers in preparing lesson plans and teaching materials;

building a good relationship with the students.

? Assisting teachers in school events.

? Maintenance of all Chinese teaching resources in the storage room.

? Assisting the Head of Chinese in procurement.

? Organising stock and materials.

? Translating articles about Chinese department events.

? Assisting in preparing Chinese trips.

? Taking over Chinese class when teachers are absent.

? Attending meetings as requested by academic leaders and principals.

? Other assigned work as requested by the Head of Chinese.

BASIC QUALIFICATION

? Education: Bachelor’s degree.

? Major: Chinese language and literature.

? Language: Native Chinese speaker and fluent in English, minimum CET-6.

? Teaching qualification Certificate for Primary and Junior High

? Support Wellington Value.

EXPERTISE

? Outstanding communication in English and Chinese.

? Formidable knowledge in Chinese Literature.

? Familiar with Office software.

PREFERRED APTITUDES ? International and bilingual school working experience is preferred.

? Cross-cultural working experience is preferred.

?Demonstrating practice that represents the five core values of Wellington at all times (courage, integrity, kindness, respect and responsibility).

? Strong passion for the education industry.

? Detailed-oriented and disciplined in time management.

? Warm, helpful personality.
