Primary Function:

Be an important member of a team to develop antibody drugs to treat cancers.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

The main responsibility of this job is to conduct experiments to improve therapeutic qualities of antibodies using multiple technologies. Routine experiments include, but not limited to, the following:

1. Basic molecular work like PCR, real-time PCR, cloning, miniprep, maxiprep, western blot
2. Flow cytometry
3. Small-scale protein expression and purification
4. Planning of routine experiment to meet timelines
5. Other experiment required by new plans in the near future

While on-the-job training will be provided, there are some basic requirement:

1. The candidate should be very organized and self-motivated, with high team spirit and a keen interest in learning
2. The candidate should be able to multi-task with minimal mistakes
3. The candidate should have a master degree in life sciences or a bachelor degree in life sciences with minimal 3 years' relevant experiences on the bench
4. Experiences with basic molecular work and flow cytometry

Other experiences that are not absolutely required but could be plus points include:

1. Experiences in small-scale protein purification
2. Experiences in different display technologies like yeast, phage or mammalian display
3. Ability to write small text-processing scripts using programming language(s)
