OVERVIEW :

The Account Director is the principle contact between the Agency and Ford APA and has ultimate responsibility for the account. The Account Director works across multiple lines of the account, developing and executing solutions that help our Clients to grow their business and gain market share. The incumbent leads the account team from strategy development to solution delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Strengthen and expand relationships with key clients

· Liaison between Agency, JWT, Mindshare and Ford to establish goals & budgets and ensure the delivery of quality, cost-effective solutions

· Planning & management of projects listed in SoW

· Key agency point of contact for Local Market teams & Ford product team for project roll out

· Support / provide direction to AM on day to day project management

· Contributor to Regionalisation development process - process design & development of local market stake holders information & support

· Contributor to Long Term Planning - for implementation guidance

· Financial reconciliation of all projects, and campaign profits & losses

· Reconciliation & reporting for quarterly reviews

· Mentor & performance manage the account service team

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Agency and account management experience required

· Strong direct marketing experience with an integrated marketing perspective is critical

· Proven ability to develop strong relationships with clients

· Dynamic leadership, management and team building skills

· Strong client facing & presentation skills

· Ability to work across different cultures

· Successful track record managing multiple client assignments

· Sound qualitative & quantitative analytical skills

· Knowledge of all agency functional areas; including print & digital production, media, research and data

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED PROFILE:

· BA/BS degree required

· Five to seven years of professional experience in a related field

· Mandarin - conversational and or business is an advantage
