Practice Summary 

The Corporate Finance and Restructuring segment of FTI Consulting provides complete support in turnaround and restructuring, transaction advisory services and corporate recovery. The practice has a reputation for taking on challenging and complex assignments that require exceptional strategic and technical capabilities.

Our team has over 30 years global experience working on some of the most high profile restructurings and insolvency cases, including Lehman Brothers and General Motors. Our clients include nearly all of the major global financial institutions, private equity houses, city law firms and many corporates. 

Our regional and international coverage, combined with the depth of our specialist team and results-focused approach, means we are uniquely placed to meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

? Review and analyze financial statements and projections and assess business plans.

? Undertake company and business research.

? Conduct financial due diligence and valuation assignments relating to transactional advisory engagements.

? Execute cross-border advisory, recovery and operational tasks relating to corporate restructuring in China.

? Act / assist as interim manager or monitor for client's various projects. work closely with client's operational personnel to achieve their smooth transition.

? Conduct business improvement and business transformation assignments and propose solutions for clients to  enhance their business.

? Logical and methodical approach to problem solving.

? Draft reports regarding a variety of engagements.

? Assist with developing proposal documents for potential engagements.

? Project or sub-team lead.

Key Requirements

? 4 to 6  years of accounting or  finance experience, preferably obtained with a reputable international accounting firm  (audit, tax, corporate finance, forensics, corporate recovery or restructuring) or investment bank (M&A, analyst).  CPA or relevant qualification is a plus.

? Knowledge of China company law and taxation.

? Excellent communication skills in English/Mandarin (both verbal and written). 

? Strong analysis and report writing skills. 

? Ability to lead and manage various engagements under pressure.

? Ability to achieve results in a contentious environment and to develop commercial solutions relating to complex  operational issues.

? Positive attitude and proven work ethic.

? Good communication skills and the ability to interact with internal and external people at all levels.

? Competent computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

? Ability to travel.
