Key Responsibilities:

Operations

• Perform
  and monitor hardware and software installation in line with Global IT directions

• Maintain
  stable daily operation of IT infrastructure

• Ensure
  a virus free environment

• Ensure
  data and system security in line with Global IT directions

• Define
  local system policies and procedures in line with Global IT directions

• Ensure
  compliance with standards set in group/regional policies (software licenses,
  anti-virus program availability, correct configurations, IT asset list…)

• Provide
  remote support other LO countries whenever necessary

  Application Services

• Provide
  support to liaison office and factory users for the adidas applications

• Provide
  suggestions to improve the stability of the system and to increase the
  productivity

• Oversee business
  application development plan and review work products of developers to ensure
  process and requirements compliance, identify opportunities for improvement.

• Act
  as the backup for other liaison offices globally whenever necessary

  Business and User Support

• Provide
  guidance to deskside IT support as the Level 2 support

• Defines
  IT requirements and sources solutions based on business requirements

• Develop
  efficient system of tasks through standardization and leveraging of best
  practice

• Organizes
  regular user training on various adidas applications and software packages

• Manage the design
  and implementation of IT solutions for meeting business growth and goals

  IT Management

• Perform
  local IT planning based on business plans/requirements and Global IT
  initiatives

• Evaluate
  and propose new hardware/software as needed

• Prepare
  IT budget the responsible LOs

• Ensures
  proper asset management and all hardware is covered by proper maintenance
  agreements in a cost-effective way

  Team/Project Management

• Promote
  IT related projects for continuous improvement, work efficiency improvement and
  cost reduction

• Coordinate
  and supervise local IT activities

• Supervise
  junior IT team member to provide IT support and services to users

• Proactive
  perform risk management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Knowledge
   of MS Office and experience in writing MS-Excel macro

2. Experience
   in web application development with technologies such as IIS/Ajax/MS-SQL,
   IIS/Ajax/mdb, PHP/ASP/MS-SQL, etc. preferred

3. Excellent
   presentation skills to express ideas in a global team environment

4. Proven
   ability to deliver well-documented technical solutions within the constraints
   of time, cost, and functionality.

5. Able
   to communicate complex technical IT issues to English-speaking senior
   management or users in laymen’s terms

6. Good
   command of both oral and written English

7. Good
   knowledge and concept on IT service management and project management

8. Experience
   in Supply Chain or Sourcing business process is advantage

   Experience and Qualifications:

9. BS
   degree in Computer Studies or related discipline

10. Minimum
    6 years of hands-on IT support experience on infrastructure and in-house
    applications, with highly developed customer-focused skills

11. Minimum
    5 year of work experience in working with Global teams at different time zones
    with good cultural awareness

12. Minimum
    3 years solid experience of team management

adidas Sports (China) is adidas’ fully-owned subsidiary, of which the trade headquarters is in Shanghai. Moreover, there is a manufacturing plant in Su Zhou, and two facilities in Beijing and Guangzhou. Now, the operation in China has a presence in 27 provinces.
