Silentium is looking for field experienced and passionate field application engineers who will closely work with our clients in China.

Job description

· Support HQ engineers for customization of the company solution for the customers.

· Conduct acoustic measurement and analysis with regards to target customer products in the assigned projects.

· Provide and suggest appropriate noise reduction solutions for the customers in the assigned projects.

· Coordinate work schedule and scope with the customers and HQ engineering department

· Conduct calibration and customization work for target customer products in the assigned projects.

· Report to GM and local engineering manager about the project status, issues and plans on a regular basis

· Translate and prepare related technical documents in English and Chinese

· Utilize and integrate the system into various customers Products/Systems, by performing different analysis and experiments in lab and in field.

· Leading and managing (Engineering-Wise) full life cycle of projects – starting from feasibility stage, understanding the requirements and complexity, planning and building the solution to the product, implementation and production.

· Frequent travels and mutual development work in customers sites abroad.

Requirements

· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Engineering, Signal Processing, or Acoustic Engineering.

· At least 5 years of Work Experience in the field of NVH, Acoustics, Infotainment, or Electronics design or production for Automotive and Consumer Electronics

· Engineer work experience in a foreign company

· High English proficiency

· Ability to conduct mechanical design of a simple solution using industrial design software independently

· No restrictions for domestic as well as international business travels

· Collaborating across interdisciplinary teams.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented.

· Creative, analytical, and self-driven.

· Willingness for travels : 10%-30%.
