Principle Design Verification Engineer

Experience

8+ years Design and Verification experience coupled with Bachelor or above degree

Responsibility:

You will be involved in the verification of leading-edge high complexity SOC/ASIC products with state-of-the-art verification methodologies (UVM, VMM, VIPs) and tools.

You will be responsible for the creation of coverage-driven verification test plans, the development of block and chip-level verification environments (UVM or VMM), and the execution of the plan from start to finish. You will be working closely with architects, designers, and pre and post silicon verification teams to accomplish your tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

- BSEE/MSEE/BSCS/MSCS with 8+ years of experience in ASIC design or verification

- Strong understanding of digital design and hardware description languages such as Verilog, VHDL or SystemVerilog.

- Up-to-date working experience in developing state-of-the-art verification environments. Familiar with at least one standard verification methodology such as UVM, OVM, VMM or Specman eRM

- Expertise in switching and networking technology or SOC architecture beyond verification knowledge is definitely a plus.

- Familiar with logic simulators and debug tools (VCS, NCSIM, Questasim, Verdi and etc.)

- Experience in one or more programming scripting languages: TCL, Perl, cShell, Make

- Familiar with Unix/Linux working environment and version control system

- Expertise in switching and networking technology or high-speed peripheral interfaces (PCI-E/USB) beyond verification knowledge is definitely a plus.

- Very good problem solving and analytical/debugging skill

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required
