Position Summary

Purchasing Engineer work with project management, operations to make sure the project purchase requirements are fulfilled the customer’s specifications. Meanwhile take charge of purchasing and OTD for components accord to planning requirement.

Responsibilities

—Be part of ECN operation team.

—Execute and take responsibility of purchasing process.

—Work in cooperation with sales and project management to guarantee customer satisfaction regarding the supply or commodity category you are responsible for.

—Ensure the purchase material OTD.

—Release technical documents to subcontractors for manufacturing.

—Work with subcontractors for technical issues.

—Manufacturing problem solving and improvement internally.

—Maintenance for internal or external technical instructions.

—ERP system related operations

—Other related tasks assigned by supervisor

Work environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This position requires up to 5% travel.

Required Education and Experience

—Mechanical background understand mechanical functions;

—Undergraduate and interesting of purchasing of mechanical parts in the related area;

—Be able to communicate with design and purchasing in headquarter in English;

—Ability to negotiate good condition with international suppliers;

—Be good at working with other team workers;

—Be good in operating Office Software (excel, word, PowerPoint).
