Requirements & Responsibilities:

• As the Category Merchandise Manager, your primary focus will be proactively growing the product category to its full potential in support of Target Brand strategies through the management of a dynamic Merchandising team.
• Drawing on your extensive merchandise management experience over a minimum of ten years, you will drive brand and portfolio strategies to source the best products at the best price.
• Experience in same or similar product category would be highly beneficial.
• To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to translate global product trends to the Australian marketplace, while proactively managing a supplier base across the region and fostering strong working relationships with Target Buying Teams.
• In addition, you must have proven financial management and business planning skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English skills are essential and regional language skills are preferred.
• Frequent travel throughout the region is a requirement of this position.
