Patent Attorney Engineering Background




Requirements:


·Solid knowledge of written and spoken legal English; ability to communicate fluently in meetings of an international team, on the telephone and in negotiations.
·Strong analytical skills and diligence in research, combined with a business-oriented approach
·Patent attorney qualification is required
·At least Bachelor degree in Engineering as well as understanding of legal issues (additional law degree is an advantage)
·Sound knowledge and previous broad practical working experience (at least 3 years), including patent search, infringement and invalidation cases in specialised law firm, patent attorneys' firm or IP department in company,
·Personality: kind, honest, internationally minded




Responsibilities:

·The focus of this position will be on assisting in infringement/invalidation cases, but also include:
·Legal Research, patent research and support for advisory work in the field of patent law
·Handling/supervising of patent and trademark application procedures in cooperation with external patent attorneys
·Translation of complex contracts and other legal or patent documents Engl. / Chin. and Chin. / Engl.
