Key Responsibilities:

The Research Manager drives and manages both consulting projects and syndicated research right from planning, executing to finalizing the deliverables according to strict deadlines and within budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and external consultants in order to deliver high quality output. The Research Manager will also closely work with the sales team to understand and define project scope and objectives and oversee the quality of the output to ensure client satisfaction.

Job Requirements:
1. Masters/Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Sciences or Economics. MBA is preferable, but not essential
2. Past industry experience of up to 5-6 years with emphasis on Corporate / Strategic planning activities and/or past work in Market research / Consulting. Experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development functions would be an added advantage
3. Ability to understand client requirements; conceptualize research framework and approach and successfully execute projects within defined timelines
4. A people person who enjoys interacting at all levels and has an eye for detail as well as possesses meticulous organizational and time management skills
5. Team leader with strong problem solving skills and proactive nature
6. Strong analytical and communications skills, both oral and written (English and Chinese).
