Job Description

ETAS is a strongly growing company in China and foresees corresponding growth in the organizational structure. In China, ETAS is currently represented in 6 locations (HQ Shanghai, Changchun, Beijing, Wuhan, Chongqing, Guangzhou). The company is mainly active in the automotive embedded systems development and actively develops new business opportunities with existing and new customers.

The holder of the position is responsible for business development, marketing, and support and engineering of the full range of solutions covering the areas of measurement & calibration and software engineering. Excellent cooperation with the sales department as well as global product management and marketing is a necessary prerequisite for success.

The duties are including but not limited to the following:

● Be responsible for the ETAS measurement & calibration Solution business target in terms of sales, project delivery including quality and customer satisfaction.

● Develop regional market development strategy for the product groups measurement & calibration in cooperation with technique and sales team by

- Analyzing market potential (political, economic, social, technological and competition).

- Understanding customer requirements and use cases.

- Develop promotion strategy by positioning customer and develop pilot customer.

● Lead the highly competent and motivated technique and sales team to implement growth strategy and achieve the annual sales targets.

● Actively educate the sales force and jointly develop new acquisition targets.

● Responsible as regional input to global specific product manager regarding market information.

● Responsible for product and solutions marketing including technical support for exhibitions, seminars and joint university laboratories.

Qualifications

● Master’s degree in engineering of automotive, electronics or control engineering.

● At least 6+ years working experience in the automotive industry, experience in automotive control engineering, especially in powertrain or new energy vehicle area.

● Demonstrated strong business development capability with rich experience.

● Demonstrated strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.

● Excellent achievement record in business acquisition.

● Good at fast learning.

● Fluent English in talking and writing.

● Frequent (over 50% of working time) domestic and occasional international business trips are expected.

● Work experience in COEMs or international as Plus.
