Job Summary:
Serves customers by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems. Support direct sales project from telesales, pre-booking inquiry till departure, handling system operations and on-site service.
Main Responsibility:
Daily Contact Center job
- Answers and responds to inbound calls, returns call/emails to solve customers' inquires and satisfy consumers via the contact center standard tools ( FAQ/SOP/sales policy)
- Provides help and clear direction to customers on follow-up actions to be taken for resolution.
- Fully understand and follow SOP in both daily communication and system operation to ensure delivered service/info in line with team's requirements.
- Documents and logs all contacts and actions into system (Udesk, DTS and CRM) as specified in guidelines.
- Help to build up and complete guests' data base
Daily Direct Sales job
- Understand sales policy/ seasonal promotions/SOP to deliver quick and correct reaction for bookings handling and inquires responding as well as ensure all actions in line with SOP.
- Ensure correct system operation dealing with direct sale bookings, eg creating booking, inserting item, adding discount, keying in info. ect. to achieve smooth process.
- Ensure correct communication with consumers in line with SOP, eg sending email, make calling, sending sms ect. to enhance consumers booking experience then to bring more consumers.
- Report/feedback works results/ process to line manager as per specific request to ensure the assigned jobs been finalized qualified and efficiency.
On-site Operational Support:
- Retail sailing support pre - cruise acting as a tour leader to ensure a smooth cruise experience
- Support the emergency situations and crisis
- Provide home port YC VIP lounge support
Qulification and Skills Required:
- University Degree and above, majored in Travel Management or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years’ tourism industry experience, preferably with travel industry or hospitality industry experience.
- Experience with handling a high volume of phone calls
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a commitment to achieving fair and just outcomes of complaints in an independent and impartial manner.
- Communication and customer service skills
- Effective communicator: Demonstrated clear written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge and skillful in Microsoft Office Programs
- Knowledge of system handling skills
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
