JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Secretary of Development Planning and Feasibility - China, is primarily responsible for all feasibility team's administrative and secretarial support; as well as required ad-hoc assistance including but not limited to mapping, project tracking, and basic research on economic data and etc.. These responsibilities are cleric but essential for the successful feasibility team's function.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
In summary, the Secretary of Development Planning and Feasibility - China:
1. Assists Feasibility China Team's field trips by:
  • Planning, mapping and arranging all interviews, appointments and inspections during field trips in a well-organized manner.
  • Making field trips in a logical sequence with minimal inconvenience for Feasibility China Team. That is with calculated timing intervals between appointments, route sequence with minimal traffic time and professional telephone skills to make appointments successful.
  • Proposing travel vehicles (air, rail, road or water) in different locations with thoughtful timing and compared pricing.
  • Proposing hotel accommodations in different locations based on research and price.
  • Keeping systematic filing on field trips for future reference.
2. Produces expense reports, by:
  • Abiding by MI accounting procedures especially the reimbursement policy.
  • Putting the various receipts in an organized sequence by date, time and categories.
  • Inputting figures correctly under the right categories with zero error when being audited.
  • Keeping organized records of all expenses reports and communicating with Accounting in a timely manner.
3. Produces all mapping on various locations and project topics.
4. Produces basic economic on-line research when required.
5. Assists in POM updates.
6. Keeps comprehensive and organized filing system.
7. Performs ad hoc assignments as required, which are not limited to below:
  • Computer purchase and set-up;
  • Mobile phone set-up;
  • Laundry;
  • Business card printing;
  • Send & receive couriers/letters;
  • Stationery order; and
  • Take attendance record.
REPORTING ORDER
The Secretary of Development Planning and Feasibility, reports at this time to the Director of Development Planning & Feasibility, China.
The Secretary also has meaningful and frequent interactions with various-level management of Marriott in Development, Legal, GDAP, Operations, Asset Management and etc.
