Key Purpose of Role:

1) Support the development of and implement Client’s overall China marketing strategy by determining key tactics and monitoring/ analysing results

2) Responsible for improving Client brand presence, awareness of Client products/services in the China market, by utilizing both below- and above-the line channels, including traditional/digital/online/social media and by implementing CRM and promotion plans.

3) Responsible for sponsorship and partnership activities and promotional tie-ups in the market.

4) Work closely with various departments locally and other overseas offices to achieve key corporate goals and maximize revenue

5) Coordinate and liaise with various agency vendor teams to implement marketing projects and customer communications.

6) Ensure accuracy and tone/manner of all marketing communications in China (Putonghua/Simplified Chinese) is consistent with and adhere to the Client brand as well as culturally appropriate.

A point of contact for all clients and programme participants developing excellent relationships based on BI values; delivering operational excellence and profit for the company. 30% - 50% of your time is likely to be directly client-facing or participant based.

· Suppliers

Effective relationships with suppliers representing BIW values to deliver excellence to our clients and profit for the company

Person Specification

· University degree with minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing role preferred, social media/digital marketing and airline/travel industry knowledge/experience an advantage

· · Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organization skills with ability to work independently

· · Team player able to work in fast pace and diverse environment

· · Fluent English and Putonghua (verbal and written)

· · Strong project management skills, attention to detail

· · Proficient PC skills
