o Translate the strategic insights into Global Long Term-Product-Plan (+4yrs) supporting business plans in terms of growth ambitions as well as profitability.
o Generate and validate new propositions in close cooperation with the regional product managers and Markets around the world using outside-in marketing processes.
o Give direction to- and ensure continuous alignment with- the technology roadmap;
o Develop Medium-Term-Product-Plan (+1,5yrs) in line with business objectives
o Ensure product plans are aligned with available resources over time. Prepare priority setting based on business cases and strategic priorities;
o Analysis of competition, segment & consumer trends, technology roadmaps & trend to shape plans.
o In cooperation with regional product managers initiate new product development assignments such as VPC, functional production specs, price positioning, target cost and budget, design direction, etc.
o Drive project success; on a continuous basis keep track project progress versus deliverables in different project phases. Initiate corrective actions when needed.
o Ensure timely delivery and quality of materials for product launch such to enable sales growth plans;
o Improve healthiness and manage complexity of the portfolio by assessing trends in sales, margin and stocks.
o Support global and regional product communication and marketing activities.
