PR MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs. Providing and organizing memorable events from conception through to completion that meet quality expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics

• Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media

• Coordinate all public relations activities

• Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media

• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media

• Manage media inquiries and interview requests

• Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations

• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis

• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.

• Build relationships with KOLs to grow industry awareness

• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting consumer and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

• Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality

• Organise facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc

• Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest

• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day

• Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations

• Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality

REQUIREMENT:

4-7 years’ Marketing/Brand or 6-7 years’PR agency

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public relations or related field

Language: Bilingual, reading, written and oral English is required

Traveling is required
