1) Primary Function：

？ Handle plumbing projects (hardline products) from various client.

？ Understand and interpret basic plumbing regulations/standards in US and CAN (CSA/IAPMO/ASME standard, Energy Efficiency Regulation) for lab testing and technical support.

？ Independently, conducts a wide range of test procedures according to product standards and specific customer requirements, accurately obtains and records data, interprets results, and performs projects that are not standardized.

？ Verify result accuracy and prepare internal and external report/test data individually and completely.

？ Testing failure analysis and testing procedure improvement.

？ Research regulations, standards and equipment, and develop test method per regulations and standards for new testing project.

？ Provides ongoing feedback to management regarding suggested modifications to experimental apparatus and / or equipment being developed.

？ May assist in work outside the laboratories as required. Processes paperwork projects where no engineering is involved.

？ Assist lab manager to implement ISO: 17025 quality system.

？ Necessary communication with client and manufacturer regarding testing method and procedure, assist CS to reply or answer client question.

2) Principal Duties & Responsibilities：

？ Understand and interpret basic plumbing regulations/standards in US and CAN (CSA/IAPMO/ASME standard, Energy Efficiency Regulation) for lab testing and technical support.

？ Research regulations, standards and equipment, and develop test method per regulations and standards for new testing project.

3) Preferred Education & Experience：

？ Bachelor degree or above, majored in mechanical, electrical or related engineering fields.

？ Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in third party hardline products testing is preferred, big NA client plumbing project experience is preferred.

？ Basic knowledge of North American Plumbing Code and Regulation. Familiar with testing requirement of CSA, ASME and IAPMO standards, such as faucet, showerhead and ceramic/plastic fixtures.

？ Strong knowledge in all national / international standards through research of standards, documentation, bulletins and technical articles in area of specialty.

？ Practical knowledge of working with test and measurement instruments and equipment.

？ Must be able to read, interpret and develop plumbing testing method.

？ Ability to manage difficult or unusual projects simultaneously and meet promised delivery dates.

？ Must be team-oriented with good interpersonal skills and abilities to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

？ Must be self-motivated and client-service oriented.

？ Demonstrated systematic problem-solving ability.

？ Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, follow-through and evaluate assigned functions and duties.

？ Technical report writing.

？ CET 4 or 6, good command of English both speaking and writing.

？ Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel); keyboarding.
