As part of Marriott's Distribution Strategy team, the Executive, Distribution, Account Management, Greater China reports to the Manager, Distribution, Account Management, Greater China
The Executive, Distribution, Account Management, Greater China is responsible for executing the day-to-day hotel delivery process and field support of all related activities with assigned account portfolio, against mutually defined operation process and KPIs.
This position is accountable for hotel field support and assigned tasks to support Marriott’s Global Distribution Strategy including required internal and external communication management. The position demonstrates advanced knowledge of job-relevant topics, systems and processes in order to pull through of assigned tasks.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related major
- Experience in positions with focus on hotel reservation, front office or revenue management preferred
- Ability to execute frameworks to analyze, test and resolve reported tickets and assigned projects
- Ability to work well within all levels of the organization, especially all hotel departments
- Strong project management and customer service skill
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent oral and written communication in Mandarin and English
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES:
Executing day-to-day distribution field support of all related activities with assigned account portfolio
- Receive and respond to hotel enquiries regarding distribution channels operations,
- Filter, track and respond to distribution service tickets reported by hotel, including rate parity, LNF/BRGs, connectivity, operation, payment, content, etc., within designated time frame,
- Cooperates very closely with distribution account management, connectivity and revenue team to develop solutions towards the reported issue,
- Maintains trusted relationship with partners’ operation, development and customer support team to ensure reported issue is followed and resolved in time,
- Work with hotels on distribution related documentation and setup. For example, contract signing, extranet manual, PMS setup, etc.,
- Work with distribution account manager on distribution strategy roll out and follow up with hotels on actions and progress update,
- Develops field support update for senior management (Areas and Continents) as needed,
- Conduct regular training and educational sessions to hotels as needed.Conduct rate audit and communicates with hotels
- Work with designated partners and tools to conduct rate audit for Marriott hotels on selected distribution platforms,
- Provide rate parity report to distribution account manager and area team on regular basis,
- Follow up with hotel and distribution partners to execute the rate parity strategy,
- Conduct test bookings as needed,
- Cooperates with members of the Sales & Marketing organization, field eCommerce organization as well as GSO where applicable.Maintaining Goals
- Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
- Promotes the documenting of project progress accurately.
- Provides input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
- Manages and implements work and projects as assigned.
- Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
- Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

- Provides technical expertise and support to persons inside and outside of the department, and hotels.
- Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
