Fast growing US company focused on the supply of medical and healthcare related products to the US market. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector working at Shanghai office to insure quality of products and to implement the supplier improvement plan.

Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary:
The SQE will be responsible to support supplier & sourcing projects on quality control, new project supplier quality audit, supplier continuous improvement. To manage root cause analysis, to ensure effective action plan in place to fully support ASP Tiger quality requirements.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
   Perform quality audit to evaluate a capable supplier base regarding quality, delivery, risk and environment within his/her own technical competence area.
   Identify and drive supplier manufacturing process quality concern towards final resolution to improve the yields;
   Follow up on supplier corrective actions on day to day issues and field quality issues;
   Analyze quality issue to solve issues ASAP to avoid stop shipment and marketing complaints;
   Ensure any engineering change or quality requirement properly implemented;
   Initiate evaluation on supplier change request and document submission;
   Supplier document (SOP, Control Plan, drawings and etc.) review;
   Create QA Spec /Product Specification/ Drawings for new project per requirement
   Initiate evaluation on new components and First Piece Inspection Report submission;
   Work with supplier on product testing plan to meet ASP Tiger requirements;
   On site inspect the final products and package to ensure the quality meet requirements.

Job Requirements:
   BS in mechanical engineering or textile degree with least 6 years’ working experience.
   With at least 4 years supplier quality experience at a multi-national company
   Familiar with ISO13485, MDD and QSR requirement
   Working experience in design by Auto CAD and development QMS is preferred
   Working knowledge of SPC, CPK, Control plan evaluation, process validation is preferred.
   Good English written and oral communication skills and good teamwork.
   Strong problem solving experience and skills, manage suppliers on failure root causes, develop process control and action plan.
   Travel
