Job Title : Implementation Specialist

Location : China - Shanghai

Position Summary

Lead Customers and internal constituencies through the major changes of implementation, relocation, service re-configuration / conversion, Conversion of billings from invoice to Card, Online implementations or closing Business Travel accounts so that these changes contribute to customer loyalty and the expeditious achievement of business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and own Implementation Plan

· Team with Sales, Client Management and Operations to understand client requirements and to assist in the Sales process

· Resolve bottlenecks which hinder task completion. Work with local markets to resolve issues involving system requirements, servicing and pricing

· Provide ongoing communication to ensure the project objectives are being met in a timely manner

· Complete thorough project documentation including customized project plans, readiness assessments, meeting notes, and database updates

· Develop a concrete understanding of Client’s travel policy and requirements and effectively communicate this policy across all cities to the local Operations Team

· Understand customer expectations and manage expectations during the course of the implementation

· Project Management: ensure adherence to timelines across China

· Coordinate efforts of local Travel Operations

· Coordinate MIS structure and reporting requirements

· Manage and deploy specific system requirements

· Provide consulting as needed

· Ensure all BARs/PARs, Hierarchy ,MIS, Billing Format are set up correctly and accurately

· Ensure ongoing Profile Maintenance process is set up and clearly documented

· Support client with development of change communication materials

· Build and develop implementation seminar presentation decks, Frequently Ask Questions for client and traveller communications

· Ensure implementation issues are escalated as appropriately to Head Of Implementations and Account Development Manager and resolution is achieved

· Ensure highest quality of implementation and customer experience is achieved

Skills and Competencies

1) Strong knowledge base of China travel agency operations and cost structures, suppliers, travel patterns, technologies, and local regulatory requirements and local customs

2) Detailed knowledge of Intranet applications including the CITS American Express online travel booking tool in order to provide reliable advice and develop strategies

3) Ability to influence and negotiate with authority in order to achieve goals

4) Ability to work with cross-functional teams and to influence both internally and externally

5) Strong administrative and time management skills

6) Ability to plan effectively and to react to changing priorities

7) Strong PC knowledge including related PowerPoint/Excel/Email skills

8) Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Effective listening skills

9) Strong Project Management skills and project management experience

10) Proficient in Chinese and English

11) Ability to work under pressure and multi tasking

12) Have a pleasant personality and approachable presence
