TITLE: QC/merchandiser Assistant
REPORTS TO: Quality Control Manager
SUMMARY: Responsible for all clerical and filing duties related to the support of the Technical Design and Quality Control Departments/Merchandiser Dept.
Responsible for the entry and filing of all paperwork for the Technical Desigh and Quality Control Departments for each season.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge: Understanding of computers and computer software i.e.: Basic computer operating systems including Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word.
Requires problem-solving and formulation skills, math and calculation, reading, and reasoning.
Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management software a plus.
Must be able to read/write English fluently.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
Duties
1. Daily filing of In-line and Final Inspections from QC Inspectors and QC Manager in shared location.
2. Review weekly production plan each Thursday and schedule In-line and Final inspections for current production. Must confirm schedule with QC Manager prior to release to staff.
3. Contact factories weekly to ensure that application report is submitted on time in order to schedule inspecstions and avoid late deliveries.
4. Administrative support to QC Manager to ensure all CTPAT initial audits, re-audits and annual inspecstions are completed and filed within 3 business days of the factory visit.
5. Ensure that all internal paperwork and reports are sent to St. Louis headquarters within specified time frame and to the appropriate parties based on type of paperwork and reports.
6. Assist in house Technition with any filing of paperwork or samples.
7. Review and compile expenses bi-monthly and distribute the report to QC Manager and Director of TD and QC on a monthly basis.
8. Maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with internal and external associates.
9. Help merchandiser team to load needed information in PLM
10. In charge of sending po
