About you
？ Good analytical skills and to draw conclusions to support right business decisions
？ University degree in business, logistics or similar
？ Knowledge and experience of how to co-operate and work with different people from different cultures
？ Knowledge of supplier capabilities, capacity planning, supply chain cost drivers and lead time
？ Knowledge about the IKEA supply chain and retail set up
？ Great interest and knowledge of home furnishing business and indirect purchasing
？ Have good knowledge of logistics

About the job
？ Achieve excellence in running operations and logistics in accordance with category/segment/logistic plans.
？ Taking lead in securing order fulfilment at supplier and securing short term capacity planning
？ Secure & develop supplier performance through common action plans

About the assignment
？ Secure short term capacities at suppliers in order to fulfil IMS business partner need by working proactively with suppliers and need planners.
？ Continuously follow-up, analyse and take actions to improve supplier performance and ensure goods are shipped in time from suppliers.
？ Develop and maintain supplier’s logistic competence to secure that suppliers are constantly improving their performance.
？ Take lead for supplier development projects within logistics.

We have site offices in lmhult, Helsingborg, Philadelphia, Wiesbaden and Shanghai. IKEA IMS is represented in most countries where IKEA operates.
