Manager, Process Safety, APAC

Global EHSQ is part of Kemira Operational Excellence, which drives efficient and agile end-to-end processes through internal improvement initiatives, supply chain management, sourcing, product stewardship and regulatory affairs

We are now looking for an experienced Manager, Process Safety APAC, for our Global EHSQ (Environment, Health, Safety and Quality) team. You will be responsible for developing, training, supporting and auditing process safety issues for manufacturing sites and the field sales organisation of Kemira in the APAC region
Role specific accountabilities are aligned with the 14 elements of process safety management

You will report to the Senior Manager EHSQ APAC

The location of this position can be either Nanjing or Shanghai China, but some travel with in the APAC region is required

What you need:
? Minimum of M.S. degree in chemical process engineering or mechanical process engineering
? Competence in PHA (HAZOP, etc.), LOPA, risk assessments, incident investigations, management of change, pre start up safety reviews and chemical safety
? Knowledge of APAC country level EHS regulatory legal compliance requirements
? EHS auditing experience
? Minimum of 10 years experience preferebly in process safety management with in the high hazard chemical industry sector
? Good communication and influencing skills, able to collaborate in diverse and multicultural environment
? Ability to coordinate, lead, coach and motivate people in a matrix organization
? Fluent in written and verbal English and Chinese language
? Proficient in PHA softeware such as PHA Pro Plus, Stature or equivalent
? Proficient in Microsoft applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook MS Project, and MS PowerPoint
