Job Description

The Quality Control Supervisor will oversee inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, and endurance. Also responsible for operating mechanical and electrical test equipment to check apparatus for conformance to standard requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

? Coordinate the activities of workers who are involved in inspecting materials and ensure that they meet the quality standards specified by the company.
? Provide examples for standards needed, write inspection procedures for new products requiring fabrication, measure different devices needed to carry out these tasks, and point out areas requiring additional attention to workers.
? Perform tests on products to ensure quality standards for the products are met.
? Direct the Quality Team in effective performance by determining accountabilities, maximizing efficiencies, and ensuring accurate results.
? Develop evolving Training Plan for Quality Team and ensure adequate training of all new and existing employees to ensure maximum performance.
? Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in inspecting incoming materials, in process product, and finished products to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications.
? Attend MRB meetings; consolidate and present data which accurately reports key quality indicators and results of correction action effort(s).
? Communicate with suppliers on matters related to product quality and supplier capability.
? Expedite daily production output by assuring timely flow of all quality control checks and corrections.
? Ensure accurate disbursement of all finalized products to the appropriate locations.
? Ensure weekly review and documented quality control inspections of the finished goods warehoused.
? Effectively communicate and document all major quality problems to respective individuals and ensure closure on resolution.
? Maintain Quality Management System, write new QMS procedures/processes; audit quality process for adherence to QMS.
? Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

?Manufacturing experience in a big ticket manufacturing operation strongly preferred.
? Strong understanding of the challenges of large mechanical assembly, mechanical forces, and materials’ science required.
? Ability to communicate effectively on a technical level with customers, across organizational lines, and with all levels of management.
? Knowledge of and experience with industry standards as they apply to purchasing and manufacturing of metal fabrications, metallic coatings (hot-dip galvanizing), fasteners, slewing driver and DC motor, gel battery etc.

?Excellent command of spoken and written English (certificate of CET6 is a plus).
