EPLAN Professional Services department:

"Improve the competitive position through significant productivity improvement"

EPLAN Professional Services provide solutions to optimize and standardize our customers engineering processes and structures and ensure successful implementation through professional project management.

Role:

As “Consultant” with focus area for harness design you work mainly with the planning, presenting and follow up prospect presentations during acquisition phase. You analyze and immerse yourself in the customers needs to define optimal solutions based on the EPLAN Platform and mainly our EPLAN Harness ProD solution for the prospect. You act as project leader when implementing our solutions together with our customer care and professional service department. You will build industry know how for our pre sales activates, analysing there specific requirements and understand their business drives and needs, and translate them into technical solution. You will keep yourself updated on new features in the products and transform functions to the message of customer value. You mainly interact with sales engineers, product specialists and our solution department.

Responsibilities:

- Pre sales and post sales activities
- Prospect and customer development, coaching, analysis
- Build industry know how in terms of harness design, engineering andmanufacturing
- Project management
- Handle specification, project plans
- Onsite customer consultation
- Channel sales support
- Presentations at trade shows
Requirements:

- 5+ years of working experience with an international company in technical pre sales or as product specialist, ideally with a strong background of harness design/engineering in the automobile or equipment industries
- Familiar with wiring layout with CAD including E/E related components
- Hands on experience with plan and optimize wiring layout and parts variants
- Ability to create and release of harness drawings
- Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen with ability to influence at the various levels of the organization
- Strong team worker with interface to sales
- Pro-active attitude
- Proficient oral and written Chinese and English communication skills
- The job involves extensive travelling
