RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Make product strategic roadmap and product development systematic plan. Implement KOHLER NPD process in new product development. Manage mechanical design quality, cost and deliveries of the team.
2. Consistently develops and applies advanced theories, methods to new developing products; Provide timely technical solutions to projects. Coach the team on development methodology and provide design guidance.
3. Administratively responsible for the smart seat and integrated toilet subsystem team developing and new engineers recruiting. Provides technical direction and coordinates the efforts of engineers and technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects.
4. Successfully establish and maintain partnership with cross function team/ customers.
5. Develops and maintains networks with decision-makers and key influencers at the group level.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
2. With 10+ years of work experience in new product development, Have performed system level products layout and complicated mechanical parts design;
3. Over 3 years mechanical design team management experience, Experience in the management and development of multi-discipline teams is preferred;
4. Be recognized for achievement and technical expertise within mechanical design professional field or possess in-depth, applied experience in multiple mechanical engineering specialties;
5. Extensive knowledge in engineering fluid mechanics, sealing, water heating, micro motor driver structure, better knowledge to plastic material and injection mold;
6. Be familiar with Pro/E and Auto CAD, Use tolerance calculation to achieve target functionality;
7. Ability to work in integrated teams with a focus on forward-looking, optimistic, Pro-active, and ready to work under pressure;
8. Good speaking and writing skills in both Chinese and English to effectively convey information, express opinions, and motivate others to act.
