Objective of the Position / 岗位目标

Responsible for polymer competency development in product and process, grow and apply it for the success of stake-holders (BU R&Ds, SG Businesses.

负责开发聚合物产品与加工相关的技术能力，并将其应用和拓展到圣戈班的业务，以提升产品和生产的性能。

Principal Accountabilities ( % of time, What, How and Why) / 主要职责（时间、工作内容的分配）

1/EHS ( 5%) Strictly follow company EHS & 5S policies and regulations. Follow R&D personnel's individual EHS responsibilities listed in 'EHS Responsibilities Management Program'. 遵守公司EHS及5S的政策和规定。履行《环境、职业健康与安全职责管理程序》中研发人员的个人EHS职责。

2/ Projects (40%): Conducts polymer research and development on technical projects.

* Collaboratively with R&D Directors, Managers, Supervisor and other stakeholders, participates in identifying potential projects that support R&D group research efforts.

* Develops project plans, directs and coordinates the implementation of approved plans through direct & indirect reports;

* Provides personal technical input to the projects. Evaluate progress relative to technical objectives.

* Employs strong scientific methodology in conducting projects.

* Establishes routine reporting for all activities

* Resources projects and responds to change priorities as required.

* Identifies potentially patentable developments & develops proprietary technologies resulting in patents.

项目研发(40%): 开展聚合物技术项目研发

* 和研发组合作，参与制定研发组的项目。

* 制定和协调项目计划。

* 提供项目的技术支持，从技术上评价项目的进行情况。

* 技术指导项目。

* 建立日常汇报。

* 组织研究资源，必要时调整项目优先。

* 定义可能的专利项目并且实施，以取得专利。

3/ Competency development (35%). Strength the polymer competency through phizero and GIE projects.

研究能力建设 （35%）。

通过phizero 和 GIE 项目，重点拓展聚合物产品与加工的研究能力。

4/ Principal Investigator (15%): The incumbent is expected to be the principle investigator on key projects requiring the highest skill level and the greatest risk/rewards. The incumbent is expected to identify problems; formulate hypotheses; define strategy and calculation/experimental approach; execute project plan; synthesize and analyze data; draw conclusions and make recommendations and effectively communicate results to customers and management.

理论探索 (15%): 在少数关键的高回报高产出的项目上成为理论探索者。发现问题，提出假设，定义分阶段的，理论和实际相结合的方法。执行项目计划，合成和分析数据； 得出结论，为客户和管理层提供有效的建议。

5/ New Technology and External relationship (5%) - As example of tasks:

a/ Aiding research engineer in developing new application and technology; b/ Attend external conferences, symposiums, specific training, read papers, patents ... c/ Develop relationship with external Universities, labs,... d/ Learn new testing methods and testing apparatus; e/ Etc...

新技术与外部关系（5％）－如下：

a/ 帮助研究工程师发展新应用和技术；

b/ 参加外部会议、研讨会、特殊培训，阅读论文，专利等

c/与外部大学和实验室等发展关系

d/ 学习新测试方法和测试仪器；

e/其他。

任职条件/Qualification & Skills

1/ PhD of Material Science (Polymer), industrial experience preferred.

材料科学高分子方向博士教育背景，有工作经验优先

2/ Fluent English 英语流利

3/ Open minded, innovative, driven, good listening and communication skills, result & customer focus思维开放有创新性，积极主动，具备良好的倾听与沟通能力，结果与客户导向
