Job Summary / Purpose of Role (Why does this position exist within the organization)

The sourcing engineer (position title) is responsible for assigned suppliers management, new supplier searching and development, supporting new product development. Acts as supplier account manager to monitor and improve suppliers performance – cost, quality, delivery and service etc.

Job Responsibilities
1. Coordinate suppliers and internal cross functions to deal with daily issues of wide variety of products delivered under brands owned by Kraftwerk.
2. Supplier relationship maintaneance, business term negotiation and contract review and updating.
3. Supplier performance data (Scorecard: Quality, Cost Lead time, OTD and Fill rate) collection and analysis. Improve supplier’s performance.
4. Coordinate with suppliers for all shipping related documents and issues.
5. Lead New supplier development, industrial sourcing intellegency collection and analysis.
6. Earlier involve New product development, lead RFQ, support RFP, FAI and product spec collection, and generate SIP(CCL) for the new project.
7. Monitoring factories manufacturing capabilities,capacity and risk control
8. Coordination & proof checking of product packing & technical information with team of designers in Europe and in Shanghai.
9. Handling daily PI/PO/payment process. Support QA team to conduct quality inspection & improvement.

Job Requirements / Knowledge and Experience (Qualifications necessary to successfully perform the job)

1. Minimum 5 years of working experience, 3 years in sourcing role.
2. Experience in field of professional tools & for European company / market is a plus
3. Time management and KPI execution skill.
4. Problem solving skill, proactively and result driving.
5. Cost analysis skill and project management concept
6. English skill is a must (daily work in English)
7. Bachelor degree in Engineering, and Purchasing & Supply Chain Management is a plus
