The ideal candidate will have a background in strategic procurement, consulting and knowledge of the technology vendors industry.
The ideal candidate for this position will have one of the following backgrounds:
? Previous experience in a client facing consultancy position, ideally delivering procurement or strategic sourcing project. Preferably within a Tech Consulting organization.
? A strategic procurement background from an industry organization who would want to make a move into a client facing consultancy role.
The Procurement Management Consultant will be responsible for:
? Delivering strategic procurement solutions to key client projects across China
? Analyzing procurement spend data to develop and implement appropriate action plans and report to management and clients
? Provide subject matter expertise in the area of procurement with a specific focus around procurement technologies and SRM
? Support on pre-sales activities to generate new business and build client relationships
? Benchmarking spend categories and developing corresponding category strategies
The Procurement Management Consultant must have the following skills to be successful in this position:
? Highly entrepreneurial mind-set and ability to work in a growing business as part of a small China team
? Ability to quickly adapt to new industries and understand the strategic and operational dimensions or individual clients
? Map and analyze complex businesses and develop processes for improvement
? Have a deep understanding of Procurement technologies, ERP and SRM
? Highly proficient across all MS Office applications with excellent knowledge of Excel
? Must be MSc or MBA educated with previous experience in Strategic Procurement or Management Consulting
