JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Manage and coordinate the Program Managers/Leaders to follow the DURA APQP procedure and work on strategies to improve the global PM methodology with embracing the DURA DOS 2.0 AOE Principals.
2. Manage the team while creating strategies and improvements to continuously create better DURA APQP procedure.
3. Ensure the delivery of new products or services is to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan and DURA APQP Gate Requirements.
4. Review Program Manager’s project budgets (CPQA), monitoring the expenditures (ER) and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresses.
5. Support the Program Managers to plan the program (in PLM and MS Project) and monitor its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
6. Leads and manages the team, ensuring individuals are motivated and understand their position descriptions and performance goals and that development needs are defined and addressed.
7. Sets an example by modeling the required behaviors and holds others accountable for their actions by identifying and acting on behavior which is inconsistent with agreed standards Project Management
8. Review and ensure all Project Expenditure Request, Capital Expenditures, and Project Reviews (Gate Reviews) are on time and complete.
9. Escalate issues with other functional managers/directors as necessary to resolve project issues and escalate to upper management if unable to resolve in a timely fashion.
10. Responsible for the quality assurance and overall integrity of the programs.
11. Facilitate cross functional managers/directors meetings (Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, etc.) in order to support successful escalation topics..
12. Communicate and facilitate closure of manager/director level escalation issues with all parties (PM, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing) as required.
13. Manage the risks to the program’s successful outcome.
14. Report progress of the program at regular intervals to the Executive Director of Global Program Management, VP of Global Program Management and other key members of the management team as required.
15. Completes and performs other duties/tasks as may be assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Language Skills: Good Command of English Language.
2. Education: Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent minimum. Preferred MBA or Management Degree. PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
3. Experience: Minimum of 15 years related Automotive Industry experience. A minimum of 9 years’ experience in the area of Program Management.
4. Product Experience (Preferable): Control Systems, Structures, Exterior Systems, ADAS, Electro- Mechanical assemblies and PCB-A.
5. Working Knowledge: Requires a good working knowledge of procedures, operating methods and managerial practice; or, a combination of education and experience that develops technical skills and soft skills to perform routine assignments with proficiency.
6. Skills: Strong Presentations skills. Must be able to present to large and small groups including project teams, management and customers. Ability to manage 10 to 15 direct reports with minimum supervision, including planning and organization, problem solving, work delegation, and employee development. Ability to exercise coaching skills to ensure Program Managers are properly managing the customer, motivating the internal team, and supporting them to resolve conflicts in a win/win fashion.
