Description of Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help us open our office in Shenzhen. The position requires a high level of experience in relationship building within the entertainment and events sector and managing a small team. Our main office is in Shanghai, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working alone or in a small team.
? Develop key relationships with event partners in Shenzhen
? Manage a small team remotely
? Network and find new partners
? Communicate with our marketing and customer service teams in Shanghai
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong past in business development, ideally in the media, entertainment or events space.
? Native Chinese language skills with a good grasp of both spoken and written English
? An excellent networker ?
? An ideas person who’s not afraid to voice their opinion and justify ideas with data and research
? Existing contacts within the events and entertainment space in Shenzhen
? Excellent problem solving skills, strong verbal & written communication skills in Chinese and English
? Experience managing a small team and working remotely a plus
