Sr. Training Specialist, ASPAC Corporate Services

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Under the supervision of Sr. Training Manager, ASPAC Corp Services, this position is responsible for the design, development, and implementation, of technology based programs on-time and within budget. This position will also support the design, development, and delivery of
in-person programs on-time. The Sr. Training Specialist will promote the effective use of technology-based learning and in-house programs and partner with team members to ensure that the required support is provided.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pre-training support: deeply involve in training needs analysis, build annual training plan, programs communication, nomination and promotion, and training materials preparation etc.
  • Use the established instructional design methodology for in-person learning programs and appropriate online learning programs.
  • Facilitate in-person courses, such as professional programs, Basic Leadership programs, New Hire Orientation trainings, etc.
  • Post-training support: design follow-up activities for key programs to measure behavioral change and track success stories.Coach and guide other learning professionals and HR in learning solutions design and development.
  • Manage the current Learning Module in KCM and coach and guide other learning professionals and HR in how to use the system.
  • Stay abreast of emerging learning technologies, gain and share knowledge and expertise when appropriate.Employ the use of social tools and mobile learning platform when appropriate and help businesses and other learning professionals to learn and employ.
  • Involve in talent management or training projects as needed and support other learning and HR professionals in implementation of the projects.
  • Manage timelines, budgets and quality of work delivered by external vendors and consultants.
  • Ad Hoc projects or other tasks assigned by supervisor.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS


Reports to Sr. Training Manager, ASPAC Corp Services.

Frequent contact with HR staff across the region (RCS, KCI, 11 plants in China, BU in Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand, Korea etc.).

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, focus on training and development, instructional design or instructional technology, preferred.
  • Above 5 years previous experience in training industry is preferred. Experience in e-learning, mobile learning, or related web based field.
  • Experience in in-person programs delivery and facilitation.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience in development, design, management and coordination of virtual learning projects.
  • Good English, oral and written skills.
  • Strong service-minded and excellent interpersonal skills, especially influencing skills.
