THE POSITION:

Senior Sourcing Engineer

Report to : Sourcing & Procurement Department Manager
Subordinate: none

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coperion Network Support:
- Support Sales and Order Handling teams in project-related bidding
- Clarification procedures, understand project requirements and transfer them into enquiry
documents
- Process/Evaluating suppliers’ quotations, check their manufacturing capability and quality level.
- Analyse and provide market know-how, present potential of further supply possibilities
- Establish and develop a strong and reliable communication channel into the global Coperion Network

2. Strategic Sourcing:

- Establish, develop and control a qualified and reliable supplier base for technical equipment, which meets the high Coperion quality standards
- Analyse and define market standards with suppliers in terms of technical execution and commercial conditions
- Extend the supply portfolio continuously, based on market requirements
- Lead the negotiation of commercial terms with suppliers to reach company’s target
- Prepare recommendation and purchase orders according to company process and sourcing policy
- Follow up suppliers for on-time delivery, track the main milestones in the supply, apply payment plan for the suppliers
- Establish and develop efficient internal procedures and document accordingly
- Manage supplier with strategy sense and define supplier development plans.

- Business analysis and data analysis


QUALIFICATIONS:

- >5 years working experience specialized in the handling of engineering packages, technical specifications and drawings as well as purchasing of fabricated metal equipment and machinery.
- About 3 years project sourcing and procurement experience
- Bachelor’s degree in machinery, chemical, engineering or related field
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Strong sense of self-motivation and responsibility, a good team player
- High level of integrity and ethics
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Good command both in Chinese and English language and shall be experienced to work in an international team.
- Good computer skills are mandatory.
- Knowledge of contract law, international trade rule is a plus

我们的工作时间为周一至周五 8：30-17：00，并提供多条线路班车。(莘庄，普陀，松江）
