Job Description
The successful candidate will:

The Senior Functional Analyst (FA)/Product Owner for WKFS has primary responsibility for translating business requirements into functional specifications to be used by software developers, analysing the issues reported by internal colleagues and external users, prioritizing daily work items, and coordinating the works of the teams for functional analysis, developers, Quality assurance, and external users via the client service team or implementation team. The FA’s activities include

? Conduct detailed analysis of reports and comprehend the regulatory guidelines pertaining to such reports.
? Translate the regulatory guidelines from PBOC/CBRC or SAFE into functional specifications.
? Proactively leads and directs activities to identify information problems and defines solutions for management approval.
? Communicates with departmental management, business users and peers to define and prioritize the product backlog.
? Familiar with the complexity of product when designing and changing systems which affect critical components.
? Operates primarily in close partnership with various departments to develop a deep understanding of business requirement and to meet their objectives in developing cost, quality and service improvements.
? Creating test scenarios and granular test data.
? Testing the reports from a functional point of view.
? Creating detailed documentation pertaining to their job areas.

Qualifications and Skillset

Education:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Computer Science

Essential:
? 5 years’ relevant work experience in a Bank/ FI/IT firm with solid knowledge of software product/application requirement analysis and management regarding MIS or regulatory reporting systems.
? Experience in the Bank regulatory filings, such as PBOC’s Enterprise Credit System and RCPMIS, or 1104, Basel III, or SAFE reports.
? Candidate must display strong analytical skills and be responsible, methodical and organized.
? Experience with Agile methodology, especially product backlog management as product owner.
? Experience in documentation such as functional specification, user manual, business test case, release notes etc.
? Excellent communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills.
? Good command of English.
? Working in a dynamic, fast paced environment under time-sensitive deadlines.

Desirable:
? Knowledge and experience in handling the database and software programming, such as MS office Excel, VBA, SQL, Power BI or Oracle
? Knowledge of Banking, advanced accounting, financial instruments, and risk management is a plus
? Experience in regulatory reporting domain, risk management, treasury or any other role which requires high level of analytical aptitude with either Bank/ Regulator is a plus
? Should be of autonomous bent and a self-learner, assertive and able to make expert decisions based on personal judgment.
