One of our German clients seeks to expand its business in Chia by trying to enter new markets with a new range of products. They are a global manufacturer of electronic industrial products for various different industries such as: Automotive, Offices, Machine Building, Aviation, Health, Laboratories, Electronics, Railways and many others.
As the Company is increasing the scope of business domestic and overseas, the Company are looking for an assistant to the General Manager mainly focused on sales activities.
The ideal candidate will be involved in various sales activities with customers as well as internal sales tasks.
He/she may on occasion contact customers directly, he/she will be assisting the General Manager in all sales related tasks, such as discussions, negotiations and translations. He/She will coordinate and communicate sales projects internally and with the headquarter in Germany.
Travel is occasionally required.
The ideal candidate for this position is a native Mandarin speaker and is very proficient in English. He/she has a commercial background and at least 5 years of professional experience as an Assistant to a CEO, in Business Development or in Customer Service.
Education:
Commercial Education (Bachelor Degree)
Professional Experience/Skills:
1. At least 5 years of experience as an assistant to the CEO, Sales Assistant, Customer Service or in Business Development.
2. Willingness to travel.
3. Knowledge of:
Office administrative and management practices and procedures,
Principles and practices of sound business communication,
Standard word processing and spreadsheet software packages.
Language Skills:
1. Chinese (Mandarin): Native Speaker
2. English: Fluent (Verbal and Writing)
3. Optional: German
