We are currently searching for an Event Manager to take care of the local organization of our executive group tours for German managers to China. The program consists of different visits to China’s major digital companies (mainly in the greater Shanghai and Pearl River Delta regions), networking events with high-profile business leaders as well as speeches on the most relevant topics of Industry 4.0 in China. Additionally, there will be a sightseeing program included in the agenda. Our tours usually take 4-days and take place every other month.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

organize tour locally (e.g. domestic flights, ground transport, accommodation, restaurants, meeting locations, sightseeing, interpreter)
communication with German office on participant details and tour program
communication with local partners on company visit and tour program
communication with relevant contacts at companies to be visited
accompany and manage group during tour program
follow-up and administrative tasks linked to tour organization

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who
has a background in the tourism, travel, hospitality or other service industry
has basic project management experience
is highly organized and is able to manage larger groups of people
is used to dealing with top executives and other high-profile participants
speaks English and Chinese fluently (German is a plus)
has lived in China for a minimum of 5 years and/or has great knowledge of the local infrastructure and businesses

Project duration is one month, with start on Oct 30th. The engagement will be on a freelance basis. 举报 分享
