SunChine, an independent 3rd party quality inspection company, supports manufacturing projects worldwide, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Quality Control to deliver quality assurance on outgoing ‘smart-meter’ gas and electric products, based on conducting in-line and final product inspections of at different factories in Europe and Asia. Job Profile for Mechanical Engineer – Quality Control Smart Electricity/gas Meters

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

? Conducting In-line QC inspections and OQC/ pre-shipment inspections to determine batch-acceptance/ rejection.
? In case of batch rejection, propose corrective action and risk mitigation measures.
? Frequent contact with project manager on-site to align tasks and advise on manufacturing risks (i) to product safety, performance & reliability; or (ii) non-compliance with customer requirements.
? Week-to-week reporting of relevant (3-) daily quality statistics to drive/ support PDCA at the manufacturer
? Result orientation, daily, weekly, batch-wise reporting on observed defects and risk
? Contribute to overall operational assessments in production quality made by project manager, including quality risks supply-chain (IQC), storage, and key production stations.
? End of line production and product release
? Contributing to factory audits, production due diligence, risk assessments.
Candidate Profile
? Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken; Other European languages, specifically Polish,
are an advantage.
? Must have good communication skills and interpersonal skills and be willing to transfer implicit knowledge to juniors in his field.
? Must have strong affinity for and proven track-record working in manufacturing environments.
? Must have experience in production, testing, development of (smart) gas-meters.
? Experience in mechanical design & testing relating to gas meters; assuring compliance with Directive 2014/32/EU concerning Measuring instruments, Testing and Certification will be strong advantage.
? Available to travel frequently
? Quality skills, minimum 2 to 3 years in automotive / electronics / semi-conductor (or similar) quality environment
? Experienced in implementing ISO 2859 -1/-2 for different products, sets of criteria
? Auditing, Factory Acceptance Testing, experience of manufacturing facilities (and supply chain)
? Team-working spirit, self-improvement and systematic reporting skills
? Reporting (Excel, Word)
? Flexible & adaptive to new working environments
? Interest in technological developments and innovations in particular smart-metering technology and radio technologies
Profile &Education:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering and five years of related experience or diploma in Mechanical Engineering and eight years of related experience. Must have a thorough working knowledge of relevant International Codes and Standards. 举报 分享
