供应商开发工程师
职位目标
? 供应商开发工程师全面负责零件供应商的管理。
? 关注供应商关系的长期发展。
? 支持中国和美国工厂的中国供应商的开发和管理。

职责：
? 识别，确认不同工艺零件产品的厂商。
? 能够根据 Altec 的审核标准对供应商进行评估，能够挖掘供应商的潜力。
? 对于成本，质量，交付具有良好的判断能力，并影响相关团队选择供应商。
? 良好的质量工具知识，并具有质量工具运用的实践经验。能够在不同的场合运用质量工具， 并解决问题。
? 具有良好的产能分析和评估能力。
? 积极利用各种方式，如邮件，电话，拜访等与供应商互动。
? 和设计工程师合作实施产品开发战略。
? 负责准备并发放询价单。
? 负责价格与条款的谈判。
? 主导供应商评估与选择。
? 参与产品审查，样件采购，测试和应用审查。
? 负责供应商选择和管理当中所有文件的签发和存档。
? 协调供应商和工厂简历有效的关于技术，质量及交货的沟通渠道。
? 负责供应商质量，成本和交付表现的管理，并使用Altec 生产体系或者其他的质量控制和流程敦促供应商持续改进。

职位要求：
？ 本科以上工程技术背景 （机械类优先），2~5 年工作经验。
？ 具有制造(车间)和供应商管理经验者优先考虑。
? 具有较强的分析和解决问题的能力，具有工程制图/规范和制造过程的能力。
？ 需能够在中国各地出差，以确保采购产品质量和交货要求得到满足。会有一些到美国出差的要求。
？ 有测量设备和检验技术的经验
？ 具有独立工作能力能力。
？ 能够适应跨职能部门工作，具有良好的协调和沟通能力。
? 能够迅速做出反应以解决相关问题。
? 流利的英语口语和书写能力。
? 能够以高标准的道德和诚实来引导和影响供应商。
? 良好的团队合作精神

Position
？ Supplier Development Engineer (China)

Purpose of Position
？ Supplier Development Engineer takes the overall responsibility of parts/components supplier management.
？ Focus on long term supplier relationship development.
？ Support both China and US focused factory requirement on China supplier development.


Responsibilities
？ Identify capable supplier sources for different commodities.
？ Understand supplier’s assessment basing on Altec audit requirements and specially know how to dig out the supplier’s potential without being told.
？ Have good sense on cost, quality and delivery, influence related team to have best choice in supplier selection.
？ Good quality tool knowledge and lots of practice how the quality tool being used in different scenery, understand trouble shooting and reports.
？ Has strong capacity analysis and evaluation capability
？ Frequent direct interaction with suppliers - over email, over the phone, and in person via site visits.
？ Jointly work with Design Engineers to develop and implement commodity strategies.
？ Be responsible for RFI/RFQ preparation (with inputs from focused factories) and releasing.
？ Be responsible for price and T&C negotiation.
？ Take lead on supplier evaluation and selection.
？ Participate in the product review, prototype procurement, testing and application review.
？ Be responsible for related document Signing off and filing during whole supplier selection process.
？ Coordination among supplier and Altec Focus factories to set up efficient communication on Engineering, Quality and Delivery.
？ Measure supplier quality, cost and delivery performance and implement continuous improvement using the Altec Production System and other commonly known quality control and process techniques.
Qualifications
？ Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred), 2-5 years working experience.
？ Practical manufacturing (shop floor) exposure and supplier management experience is preferred.
？ Strong analytical and problem solving skills with background in interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes.
？ Ability to travel throughout China as required ensuring that quality and delivery requirements are satisfied. Some travel to the U.S. is expected.
？ Experience with measuring devices and inspection techniques.
？ A self-starter with the ability to work independently.
？ Ability to work in cross-functional, global team environment with good coordinating and communication skills.
？ Ability to react quickly to resolve quality issues.
？ Fluent in speaking and writing English.
？ Ability to guide and influence suppliers with a high standard of ethics and honesty.
