Position Summary
This is an exciting position for an ambitious individual to join our teams as an Industrial Engineer, reporting to ME Manager and based in our factory in Bao'an, Shenzhen.
Accountabilities
- Compile work instructions and perform training to operators. Ensure the manufacturing to follow related workmanship standards.
- Drive productivity improvement by identifying manufacturing issues,developing effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production.
- Improve processes with applying relevant engineering principles. Develop tools & fixtures, improving production layout and labor efficiency.
- Study existing machines and processes and implement solutions to reduce scrap and rework.
- Identify and implement manufacturing cost reductions and productivity improvements.
- Assist teams in optimizing line layouts.
- Continuously review process flow and line balancing in order to reduce WIP and lead-time.
- Research, develop and document new and existing manufacturing processes.
- Layout of new production lines including material flow patterns.
- Assist with procurement of manufacturing equipment, supplies, or materials.
- Understand Engineering Drawing and give guidance during product assembly.
- Degree holder in Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering or other related technical degree.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a Multi-national company.
- Demonstrate record of technical competence, interpersonal skills and a strong desire for a career in manufacturing or operations.
- Be familiar with Microsoft office, Auto CAD skill.
- 5S, Lean/ Six Sigma background is preferred.
- English language ability, (spoken and written) is required.
