RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the interpretation, preparation and application of established corporate policies and reports necessary to carry out functions of the department.
Directs and maintains various activities designed to achieve and maintain a high level of employee morale.
Administers and/or implements and communicates current benefit programs, policies and procedures.
Establishes and coordinates the organization of the company Safety Committee compliance regulations.
Plans and coordinates new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Conducts exit interviews.
Maintains records of hired employee’s characteristics for governmental reporting purposes.
Provide primary support for employee information system database development and usage.
Serve as company liaison with all benefit providers to negotiate, implement and manage coverage plans
Provide timely, accurate information about benefits to all employees.
Implement annual enrollment process, including plan communication to employees, gathering employee choices, and implementing coverage and costs changes as appropriate.
Provide complete benefit information to all new employees.
Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to handle confidential material.
Ability to facilitate groups and meetings.
Knowledge of medical and saving plans design and regulations.
Ability to work effectively with all levels, both internally and externally.
Thorough knowledge of employment laws, and other government compliance regulations that affect job recruitments.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field preferred, experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Minimum five years Human Resources experience.
Experience with office computer software and electronic data maintenance.
Experience of performance appraisal system design and employee relations management is preferred.
