Senior IT Auditor
GM’s focus is to Design, Build & Sell vehicles. The GM Audit Services’ (GMAS) main goals are to identify and address key risks, improve operational efficiencies, enhance the controls environment and provide value added services to our business partners to achieve the company’s business objectives. The Senior IT auditor reports to the Regional Senior IT Audit Manager and is responsible for developing and executing project level IT audit plans for GM China and GM International (Korea, India, Australia, ASEAN countries, etc.).
Basic Required:
Four years or more of professional experience as an IT auditor or other relevant controls experience
Bachelor degree with a major in information technology or a related field
Professional certification (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, Ethical Hacking or other similar certification)
In-depth understanding of IT security, processes and technologies, such as SDLC, OS, DB, network devices, mobile devices, web servers, IAM, DLP
In-depth understanding of internationally recognized information security and IT service management standards, such as ITIL, ISO27001, COBIT
Knowledge of OWASP Web Application Security Risks
Ability to assess information security management framework, policies, standards, procedures and solutions
Effective English and Chinese oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Highly self-motivated
Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
Strong interpersonal skills
Quick study of new and complex processes and effective assessment of risks and deficiencies
Agrees to pursue professional development opportunities and to obtain professional certification if not already certified
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes and to think outside of the box
Knowledge of emerging IT issues, internal audit trends and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Ability to travel up to 30%
Basic Preferred:
Master Degree
“Big 4” Advisory Firm audit experience a plus
Knowledge of cybersecurity, vehicle cybersecurity a plus
Familiar with mainstream security scan tools a plus
Relevant IT operational experience a plus
Knowledge of automotive industry a plus
Other regional language (speaking/writing) skills a plus
