职位描述：
1．OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 岗位目的
   Document Control is to provide engineering service support to manufacturing operations

2．MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责
     Receive and review design or internal documentation as part of the review and approval process. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to the extent necessary for Configuration Management (CM) activities. Manage engineering change process.
     Support product engineers in all phases of new product launch documentation activities. Assist engineers in the ‘quick turn’ approval process for deviations.
     Assist Industrial Engineers in development of product routings for new product launches.
     Enter/verify Material Master information in QAD. Enter/verify Build of Material (BOM) data based on engineering parts list. Verify Routing in QAD is accurate and allocate each part on the BOM to an operation on the Routing. Follow the change process for QAD to ensure changes are properly done with all departments’ steps completed. . Take appropriate action to ensure any corrections are completed in a timely manner.
     Prepare product instructions for new product launch release, review with engineer and manufacturing, route for approval, monitor change rejections and work to resolve issues, release approved documents by entry into Master Control database. Maintain released Product Instructions.
     Ensure standardization of documents is maintained for each operation and each machine throughout plant as well as the updating of interrelated documents when changes are made.

3. KEY COMPETENCIES 资格能力要求
？ Bilingual in Chinese and English.
？ Knowledge of manufacturing lines and processes.
？ Knowledge of CM principles and procedures.
？ Knowledge of ERP (QAD system is preferred) or MRP.
？ Good writing/speaking skills and display potential to train others in use of documentation.
？ Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio.
？ Ability to work well in a team environment and at times, under deadline pressures

4. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE教育及经验要求
？ Educational: Academy of Science (AS)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic credentials.
？ Experience: AS degree in Computer Science, Information Science (IS) or related field and two years manufacturing and/or CM experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
