Internship, Strategic Marketing & Business Development

The Thin Glass and Wafer division of SCHOTT is the world's leading supplier of thin and ultra-thin glass wafers and sub-strates, offering customer solutions in a variety of applications, e.g., camera imaging, specialty display, biotech, semiconduc-tor and sensors, etc.
To Support the Product Management (including strategic marketing, business development, and application engineering) team of the Thin Glass and Wafer division in Shanghai, we are looking for an intern, starting as soon as possible for at least 3 months.

What's your next milestone?

Your profile:

- Enrolled Student with strong communication skills internationally and self-initiative & can-do attitude
- Excellent PowerPoint skills, good Excel skills
- Ability to work independently, to be flexible, creative/Innovative and proactive
- English: fluent/negotiation level
- German is a plus
- Technical/marketing background is a plus

Your tasks:

- Assisting global product management on strategic marketing and business development topics in the Thin Glass and Wafer division
- Technology assessment of new technologies in consumer electronics and industrial niche applications.
- Market assessment of new products in relevant consumer electronics and industrial niche applications.
- Interacting with global team members in different functions, e.g., sales, business development, application engineer-ing, etc.
- Administrative and general tasks
